We need help distributing march flyers, making copies, running errands and working behind the scenes. If you can give us at least 1-2 hours of time, we will keep you busy!
At the scholarship banquet...
We need help in setting up decorations on tables, placing centerpieces where they need to be, and manning the registration table. We also need servers and greeters to escort people to their tables.
On the Day of the March...
We need individuals to pass out flags and signs before we begin the procession. During the march, we need individuals to pass out water, guide people to buses and assist the March Marshalls.
Attend the events....
Your presence and participation is much appreciated and encourages us to continue our work in San Antonio. From speaking to young children at functions, you can show your support of Chavez in a variety of ways.
Host an event, a discussion, a contest...
Part of a group? Why not host an evening honoring Cesar E. Chavez through music or art? There's lots of ways to do it and we have people on our committee willing to help, be speakers, share information, etc.
